These terms cover the public pages on lotusdoulatribe.com, including the text message program. Lotus Doula Tribe provides birth doula care, postpartum care, and nanny and sitter matching.

Using the site

You agree to give accurate information in any form you submit, and not to use the site for anything unlawful. Care agreements, nanny placements, and fees are covered by the separate written agreement we send you. These website terms do not replace that agreement.

SMS and text messaging terms

Program. Lotus Doula Tribe sends text messages from (805) 463-1300. The full program description, including every way to opt in and the exact wording of our automatic replies, is on our Text Message Program page.

Consent to SMS. You join the program only by your own action: by checking the separate, optional, unchecked SMS consent box on the Text Message Program page, or by texting REFERENCE to (805) 463-1300. Accepting these terms, or giving us your phone number on its own, does not enroll you in text messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of any doula or nanny service. When you consent, you agree to receive text messages from Lotus Doula Tribe at the mobile number you provide.

The messages are customer care about a reference you agreed to give. They are a confirmation, a short follow-up notification, and replies to a question you text us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Message frequency varies with the reference, typically 2 to 4 messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message. STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT all work. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out and then no further texts from this program. To join again, text REFERENCE to (805) 463-1300.

Opting out of text messages does not change a care relationship or a placement. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number, SMS opt-in consent, SMS content, or any SMS-related personal information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or any other purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
